We would like to inform all residents of Lamar County, (excluding City Limits), of the rules and regulations of garbage preparation. Days of service depend on where the location is within the county, please see our

for which day of the week service is provided.

1. Household garbage only.
2. All garbage must be in the county-provided garbage cart.
3. No metal drums or other heavy receptacles are allowed.
4. No tree limb branches.
5. No metal or building materials.
6. No commercial businesses.
7. No dead animals.
8. No hazardous waste; paint, oil, antifreeze, etc.

Garbage Pickup Schedule

Example: If a holiday falls on Monday, Monday’s garbage will be collected on Tuesday.
Tuesday garbage will be collected on Wednesday.  Wednesday garbage will be collected on Thursday. Thursday garbage will be collected on Friday.
